LISETTE DEGIOANNI
A Lifetime of Creativity
Lisette was born in Tangiers, Morocco to Italian and Portuguese parents. Initially schooled in French before moving to Spain as a teenager, she relocated to the UK in 1982 and has lived in Scotland since 2001.
She studied History of Art and Architecture at Kingston University followed by Ceramics and Fine Art at the London Guildhall University. She graduated from Grays School of Art in 2007 being awarded the Royal Scottish Academy David Gordon Memorial Trust Award and the John Kinross travelling Scholarship to Florence.
Lisette’s work is represented in various galleries in the UK and has been shown at the Venice Biennale of 2011. She has works in the Royal Scottish Academy Permanent Collection and the Richard Demarco Collection in addition to private collections in the UK, USA and Canada.
